As the sun set on California’s coast the night of October 8th, flames rose in Calistoga in what would become the most devastating wildfire in the state’s history. Winds whipped power lines down, causing sparks to fly across the dry hills of the area.
This past weekend our team once again took a Saturday to volunteer with Habitat for Humanity, rather than relax by the pool or work on chores around our own homes. Half of our team arrived in the morning at 9:00 a.m. and met with the Executive Director of the Dekalb County chapter of Habitat, Bob Boyd.

Yesterday was one of the hottest days of the summer, but TA can handle the heat! Thirty-two members of our staff participated in our hands-on fire safety training. Each of us learned a lot, and we're all better prepared to stop a fire before it spreads.
